Client Brief/Scope of Works: 

Celltarga were appointed by Mitie to oversee and assist with the refurbishment of the WC’s and showers on the ground floor, level 2,3,4, and 5. 

The scope of works also included security enhancements to level 2, 3, 4 & 5. This included installation of; secure lobbies to cores and atrium stairs, access control points to fire escape doors, a new energy metering system; and modifications to services to suit split of landlord lobbies and tenant demises.

A sub-division of the ground floor was created to make lettable CAT A spaces. This included a strip out and removal of partitions and doors, finishes, FFE, services; modifications to services to suit new layout; making good; and reinstatement of CAT A finishes and services.

Challenges:

Working within a live building, the use of plant was limited on site and noisy works were restricted to the morning due to nature of the works within the building. We had to work closely with the clients and teams within the building to create the most efficient and least intrusive programme for the building.
