BECKETT HOUSE

To complete an external refurbishment to a building within a conservation area

Celltarga were appointed to a project within Northampton, the works included an external and internal  refurbishment to an office building located in a conservation area. 

 

The works included, but were limited to: 

​

  • Remove waterproof coating from existing stonework.

  • Remove masonary fillets around stone detailing, windows and door surrounds.

  • Rake out all sand and cement mortar repairs and repalace with lime mortar pointing.

  • Replacement stone / stone repairs

  • Timber repairs to sash windows - Splicing in new sections, Replacement of parting and staff beads as required

  • Replace Bressemer with concrete lintels, using lime mortar, dry pack mix, adjacent brick repairs, propping

  • Making good internal decoration, ie: plastering and redecorations to affected surfaces

  • Front Entrance Works
