Brief: Celltarga provided contract services to create a special eating disorder unit of the ground floor of the main hospital building.

Scope of works: Prior to work commencing, a full type 3 intrusive asbestos survey was carried out, where suspect and confirmed asbestos was subsequently removed.

Scope of works included:

• New reception

• Forming of new offices, consulting room facilities

• Private rooms with en-suite bathroom facilities

• Refurbishment of areas including waiting areas, staff kitchen and dining room combined with minor external works

• New fire doors and access control security doors

• New sanitary/washroom facilities with baby change stations

• New IT provisions, CAT 2 light fittings for all new and refurbished rooms

• Complete redecoration and renewal of finished throughout

• Installation of new internal and external signage

 

Following completion of works, a stringent inspection of all areas followed to ensure cleanliness and that the refurbished areas were finished exactly to plan. Total agreed budget was £180K. The following images show work in progress and the final snagging of fixtures and fittings.
