Refurbishment of a main corridor of a Sussex based hospital
The brief included the complete refurbishment of the main corridor. Due to this being the main entrance and thoroughfare for the hospital and that it is in constant use throughout the day during normal hours all works will need to be undertaken out of hours.
It was also be necessary to ensure that between periods of work the corridor is safe for public access, free from hazards and sufficiently lit.
The scope included:

Fire rated doors

Lighting

Fire Smoke heads

decorations

Roller shutters to reception
-
Bump rails
Upon completion of the days works the area was left clear of materials and slips trips or risks of falls.
